Quickstart

The DVI Tool is designed to help you analyze and compare volumes in 3D STEP files. This tutorial walks you through its main features and workflow.

Main Layout

The tool has two main sections:

1. Left View (Controls) - This is for uploading files and managing input parameters. Once the Before and after .step files are uploaded you can view the n number of different volumes (CNC or 3DP). It allows you to select the volume you want to process further. Before requesting the final result of the selected diff volume you can decide if you want result with Unite rough-stock volume to part or not. At the end you can view the results of the selected volume and either you can see the 3D view of the volumen on the right side on the canvas or can even download them separately.

2. Right View (3D Viewer) - For visualizing and interacting with 3D models.
